"Thanks to everyone for your kind comments regarding the last issue of Stimulus Respond, Utopia. Although the latest issue has just hit the shops, plans for the next number, Time, are well under way. Also, we are soliciting contributions for our fourth - yes, fourth - issue, called Skin.
"Thanks to everyone for your kind comments regarding the last issue of Stimulus Respond, Utopia. Although the latest issue has just hit the shops, plans for the next number, Time, are well under way. Also, we are soliciting contributions for our fourth - yes, fourth - issue, called Skin.
Contributions might include (but are by no means limited to) literal or metaphorical conceptualisations of skin as a container, porous border, sensory surface, contour or way of demarcating difference. In congruence with Stimulus Respond’s undisciplined approach, we welcome experimental work from within, between, and beyond such fields as cultural studies, anthropology, literary criticism, fashion, creative writing, politics, visual cultures, architecture, theatre, film and screen studies, sociology, media and communications and philosophy.
You can order copies of the current issue Utopia, or subscribe for a year, at our website, www.stimulusrespond.com. Utopia is priced £6.50 (UK), £8 (Europe) and £12 (Rest of the World), with six issue subscriptions being priced at £35, £45 and £65 respectively. All transactions are handled securely, and orders dispatched next working day.
The deadline for synopses and expressions of interest is 25 April, with the final deadline for all contributions being 26 May.
Also there is a new position available, that of Editor - Web. Please do forward all solicitations of interest to jack@stimulusrespond.com.

For literature, please send a 100-200 synopsis with low resolution copies of any accompanying pictures to Tara: tara@stimulusrespond.com.
