GUBA
I happened across this whilst looking for something else - it's a short documentary discussing the making of the BBC TV series, 'How Art Made The World', and by a happy coincidence, much of it takes place at Göbekli Tepe, when filming took place in 2004.
As such this is more of an extended stroll round the site, rather than a detailed look at the archaeology or history of the excavations - but we do nevertheless get to see a few nice shots of the site itself, and the parched wasteland that that now sits in stark contrast to the fertile landscape of streams and meadows that existed some 11,000 or 12,000 years ago, when the site itself was built, used, and deliberately buried intact. Göbekli Tepe was thus abandoned, for reasons that are as yet, beyond our ken.

Dr. Bahattin Çelik - an archaeologist at Sanliurfa, who has written various papers on related sites that might not be as well known as Göbekli Tepe, but are nevertheless probably just as important.
